The Servanthood Life Group led by Denise Davis will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday each month at the home of Michael and Lillian Davis in Boca Raton. The group will begin with worship together at 6:30 pm, then discussion and/or activities based loosely on the book Ready or Not by Pam Parish. There will be a time of food and fellowship after.
Ready or Not is a study to help families growing through foster care and adoption but will be applicable to whatever level of service you are called to as indicated by James 1:27 (NASB), “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” We will be discovering our abilities to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need in our community. There was no greater servant than Jesus.
