A Supernatural Community

A Supernatural Community

In our fifth message in the Beloved Community message series, Pastor Carl talked about the supernatural community. Reading from Acts chapter 2, we studied how Peter spoke of a new dynamic in the community of God.

We have to make decisions in our walk with Jesus. We have to decide if we have added Jesus to our lives, or have we given our lives to Jesus. We are a community with the understanding that God is the potter and we are the clay. We may undergo uncomfortable seasons as we are being transformed into the image of God.

When we set our minds on the things of the spirit, we are promised life and peace where the carnal mind set on the flesh is death. If we are to be partakers of the divine nature, we have to escape the corruption of this world. This is the atmosphere where the supernatural is welcomed.

As a church, we are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit. We need one another. We need the gifts that one another carries. We need the words that one another are stewarding. We need each other.

At the birth of the Church, Peter stood and declared that prophecy would be present in the house of God. These prophecies will point people to Jesus. Miracle signs and wonders will be present. In these miracles signs and wonders would point people to Jesus. And in this atmosphere of extraordinary miracles, everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. This is what we are called to. We are to live a supernatural lifestyle so people can call upon the name of the Lord and be saved.

As you meditate on this message this week consider the following:

Expect to see miracles. Look for the miraculous movements of God in your life

in what areas of your life do you need a miracle? Begin definitively stating that God is going to move in that area. See how that shifts your atmosphere.

Who in your life needs to hear the good news of Jesus? Invite someone to the Easter service and watch how God uses your boldness.
