David understood the trials of life. He was made king by God but a man was already in the position. He regularly faced the effects of enemies outside his kingdom, inside his kingdom, and inside his own heart. In those years he learned how to overcome anxiety and depression. He teaches that we need to keep our focus on God’s identiey and testimony and repeat it to ourselves so we can view the world through the right lens. With that focus God sends His Spirit to renew our youth and empower us to Dream Again.
