21 Days of Prayer: Day 2 My Mind and My Thinking

21 Days of Prayer: Day 2 My Mind and My Thinking

Prayer Point: My Mind and My Thinking

Scripture Reading: Romans 12:1-2; Isaiah 55:8-13

Rom 12:1-2 NASB Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. (2) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Isa 55:8-13 NASB “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. (9) “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. (10) “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; (11) So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. (12) “For you will go out with joy And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands. (13) “Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up, And instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up, And it will be a memorial to the LORD, For an everlasting sign which will not be cut off.”

Notes: Ask God to show you any areas of your beliefs that don’t line up with His word. Ask the  Holy Spirit to transform you by renewing your mind. Ask God to increase your faith to trust His  word and a better understanding of His heart.

Mat 6:9-13 NASB  “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  (10)  ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.  (11)  ‘Give us this day our daily bread.  (12)  ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.  (13)  ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the p ower and the glory forever. Amen.’
