21 Days of Prayer: Day 7 A New Future

Day 7 A New Future

Prayer Point: A New Future

Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 29:11-14; Romans 5:1-5

Jer 29:11-14 NIV For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (12) Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. (13) You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (14) I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

Rom 5:1-5 NIV Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, (2) through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. (3) Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; (4) perseverance, character; and character, hope. (5) And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Notes: Ask God to give you direction over any areas of your life that you are seeking clarity for  your future. Ask God what his thoughts about your future look like in the areas of your dreams  and desires. Ask God to give you perseverance to stand firm in the things that you feel like God  has promised you and your family.

Mat 6:9-13 NASB  “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  (10)  ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.  (11)  ‘Give us this day our daily bread.  (12)  ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.  (13)  ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’
